A wonder institute partnership w/ Olivtrees
Silver Studio

535 W Deer Drive #513, floor level
Our studio is equipped with everything a maker needs to create their own handmade precious metal (incl. copper, brass, silver, gold) jewelry. We built a custom table with 6 bench pins, flex shafts, soldering station, polishing machines, hand tools and more!
Olivia of Olivtrees has been creating the blueprint for metalsmithing at WonderLabs, managing the studio, building the programming, gathering instructors, making jewelry and teaching classes on Deer Drive. Memberships are available to those who have completed the safety class, basic silversmithing course, and tool check-offs.

Intro to metalsmithing
for beginners, Learning & building foundational skills
This introductory class focuses on how to make fabricated metal jewelry.
Learn how, where, and what materials, stones, and tools to use.
Prerequisite for beginners to access studio memberships.
Build confidence in safely using equipment.
Duration: This class will meet for 3 hours once a week, for 4 weeks
coming january 2026!

Membership
ACCESS REQUIREMENTS
1. take wonderlabs safety orientation
WonderLabs instructor demonstrates general studio safety practices, protocols, equipment use, open and close procedures, and shares community studio ethics and guidelines.
2. check-off to use individual tools
Displaying to a WonderLabs instructor your general knowledge and understanding of how to safely use hand tools, power tools, torch, etc. Members must be certified to independently use each station.
3. demonstrate safety, competency, and basic understanding of silversmithing.
Those with silversmithing experience are welcome to schedule a visit and show that you're qualified for membership. This includes: general safety and user knowledge of equipment, tools, silversmithing practice, studio protocols and guidelines.

Note: Members may work in the studios after 8pm if they are working quietly. No rotary tools, no torch, no hammering, forming, stamping, etc. is allowed.
