Woodshop Certification
Class Description
This certification is required for members to gain access to the main equipment in the Community Woodshop. Upon checkout you will select which tool or tool group you are requesting to be checked off for. In order to do this certification you must have already completed the WonerLabs safety orientation and become a member of the WonderLabs at Deer Dr. Prerequisite: You must have some experience with wood tools, preferably tools similar to those that you are requesting to be checked off on. If you don't qualify based on the above criteria we encourage you to take some intro woodworking classes that are listed on the Classes page of the website. If you don't see any scheduled or the scheduled classes don't fit your schedule you can email wspringer@wonderinstitute.org to schedule a session at your convenience.
Cancellation Policy
All classes must have at least two people signed up in order to run. If your class is canceled you will be offered a refund or you can apply the value of that class that is canceled toward another class. Cancellations requested any time after enrollment will receive a refund minus a 15% cancellation and processing fee. Cancellations one week or less before the class start date are only eligible for a credit of 65% of your course fee. That credit can be applied toward a future class or membership. Cancellations less than 24hrs in advance are not eligible for a refund or credit.
