Class Description
In this class you'll learn to use a few of the main tools in the community woodshop including the table saw and miter saw, as well as a drill and other hand tools. You'll go home with 9x16 inch planter ready to be filled with dirt and some plants of your choosing. This class will take 3-4hrs. No experience required. Instructor: Peter Wood Bio: I’ve worked in most aspects of residential construction for thirty years. For the last ten years I’ve been managing construction activities for Habitat for Humanity in Jackson. Looking forward to sharing some wood working skills at the Community Workshop.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations requested any time after enrollment will receive a refund minus a 15% cancellation and processing fee. Cancellations one week or less before the class start date are only eligible for a credit of 65% of your course fee. That credit can be applied toward a future class or membership. Cancellations less than 24hrs in advance are not eligible for a refund or credit.
