Upcoming Sessions
Class Description
In this introductory class we will go over the basics of machine sewing starting with parts of the machine, principles of sewing, threading, stitch types, common troubleshooting, construction methods, and more :) While you won’t leave with any specific finished product, this is an essential for any hopeful sewist. No experience required. Beginner Friendly. Instructor: Kat Jacaruso Bio: Kat has been sewing since childhood and now sews both for fun and for her business, Rip N' Stitch. Having learned from many people over the years, her favorite teacher was a seamstress named Peg who always said that sewists are actually mechanical engineers.
