Intro to Clocks & Clock Making (2 hrs)

This service is not available, please contact for more information.

Class Description

In this class, we will cover some of the different styles and options for building clocks, from simple to more complex. We'll take a look at ancient and modern clocks as well as famous clocks and what makes them special. Lastly, we'll finish with a look at some of Instructor David Robertson's clocks and what he's learned from building them. First 6 sign-ups get a free clock to take home! This class will take 1.5-2hrs. No experience required. Instructor: David Robertson Bio: I grew up doing woodwork with my father and brother and have built cabinets, furniture, toys, clocks etc, etc. My clock-making has gradually progressed from "can I make something that ticks?" to "how accurate can I make this?". I'd love to share some of the things that I have learned and perhaps point you towards making your own clocks. I'm also a keen gardener and when I'm not clock-making, I like to do the Jackson things - hike, bike, ski, dog stuff & kid stuff.
