Sewing Cert - Bernette Home Machine
Class Description
This certification is required for members to gain access to the Bernette home sewing machines in the sewing lab. In order to do this certification you must have already taken the WonerLabs safety orientation and become a member of the WonderLabs at Deer Dr. Prerequisite: You must have either of the following: A: Taken the Intro to Machine Sewing class in our sewing lab or B: Have sufficient prior sewing experience that you can demonstrate to us your knowledge of using home sewing machines. This includes threading the machines, winding a bobbin, adjusting thread tension, selecting stitch parameters, etc. If you don't qualify based on either of the above criteria we encourage you to take our intro to machine sewing class available on the Classes page of the website.
Cancellation Policy
All classes must have at least two people signed up in order to run. If your class is canceled you will be offered a refund or you can apply the value of that class that is canceled toward another class. Cancellations requested any time after enrollment will receive a refund minus a 15% cancellation and processing fee. Cancellations one week or less before the class start date are only eligible for a credit of 65% of your course fee. That credit can be applied toward a future class or membership. Cancellations less than 24hrs in advance are not eligible for a refund or credit.
