Instructor: Macey Mott
Bio: A born and raised Jacksonite, Macey Mott has been sewing her whole life. Learning to sew at an early age from her mother, she loved it from the beginning. As a child, she was gifted a toy sewing machine, the sewing machine version of an Easy-Bake Oven, making clothes for her dolls and cats(well may torturing the cats with theirs). From dressing Barbie dolls to crafting her own Halloween costumes and prom dresses, that early spark turned into a lifelong passion. Today, she brings that same creativity and dedication to designing costumes for full-scale theatrical productions and reproducing vintage looks for herself, blending storytelling with fabric, texture, and form.
