Make an Aldo Leopold Bench

Class Description:

In this class you'll learn to use a few of the main tools in the community woodshop including the miter saw, drill/drill press and other hand tools. You'll go home with a finished bench ready to be placed along a path to look at the view or birdwatch. This class will take 3-4hrs.

• Must be 18+ (14+ allowed if accompanied by parent or guardian)

• No experience required.

Instructor: Peter Wood

Bio: I’ve worked in most aspects of residential construction for thirty years. For the last ten years I’ve been managing construction activities for Habitat for Humanity in Jackson. Looking forward to sharing some wood working skills at the Community Workshop.
