About the Event
Class Description:
In this 2-Part class you'll learn to use a few of the main tools in the community woodshop including the table saw and miter saw, as well as a drill and other hand tools. You'll go home with a planter ready to be filled with dirt and some plants of your choosing.
Schedule:
Class #1: Thursday, March 26th, 5:30-7:30pm
Class #2: Thursday, April 2nd, 5:30-7:30pm
No experience required.
-Must be 18+ (14+ allowed if accompanied by parent or guardian)
Instructor: Peter Wood
Bio: I’ve worked in most aspects of residential construction for thirty years. For the last ten years I’ve been managing construction activities for Habitat for Humanity in Jackson. Looking forward to sharing some wood working skills at the Community Workshop.
