About the Event
Prerequisite: Some sewing experience such as having taken the Quilting 101 - Quilted potholder class or you have completed a couple small projects using a sewing machine.
Class Description:
In this class, you’ll learn how to install a zipper while making a zippered pouch! You can never have too many zipper pouches (and they make great gifts)!
This class is beginner-friendly, although you should have completed a project or two before taking this class (Quilting 101 - Quilted potholder is a perfect starting point before taking this class).
In this class we will be lightly quilting fabric and foam, cutting out pieces, and installing a zipper to make a conversation piece pouch!
Materials Provided
Must be 18+ (14+ allowed if accompanied by parent or guardian)
2 students are required for class to meet.
Instructor: Tatyana Ramella
Bio: I’m a quilter and mom of two busy teens and quilting is my happy escape into the world of all-things-fabric. Whether you’re carrying on a family tradition, dipping a toe into a new hobby, or just here for the fun (SEW much fun!), I can’t wait to quilt along with you.
