Teton County K–12 Robotics
High School RoboBroncs
Our high school teams compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge format — designing, building, and programming robots to compete in an alliance structure. Students take a robot from concept to competition: CAD design, custom fabrication, Java programming, and head-to-head matches alongside alliance partners.
Three Ways to Participate
Season timeline: The season runs intensively from September through February, ending with the State Championship tournament.
Developmental
Introduction to FTC mechanics, basic CAD, and Java programming. Focuses on foundational skill-building.
Junior Varsity (JV)
Competitive team building core technical skills and participating in statewide scrimmages.
Varsity
Our elite competitive tier. Focuses on advanced engineering strategies and custom-machined builds.
Varsity Off-Season Opportunities
The build doesn't stop in February. Top-tier Varsity members continue through the spring with advanced projects and custom builds beyond the standard competitive season — pushing engineering skills further and prototyping for next year's game.
