Bio

Kate loves to promote community engagement in the arts and enjoys marketing and graphic design leadership roles. She has previously worked in marketing at Freshpet and KSA&D in the Lehigh Valley. Kate graduated with honors from Saint Joseph’s University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Painting. She also studied fine art at Studio Arts College International in Florence, Italy.

After graduating from college, Kate decided to study the landscapes of national parks in the United States and Europe to further her own unique art practice. She is drawn to creative, collaborative communities, which is what brought her to Jackson, WY. Once she honed her art process, she had the opportunity to work as a teacher at Teton Science Schools, where she taught art workshops. She subsequently took an apprenticeship with a local picture framing expert, Rocky Vertone, and learned how to make custom picture frames.

Kate launched her fine art business, KFA Meditative Landscapes, here in Teton County in 2021. On top of her original paintings, she offers specialty archival, giclée prints of her original artwork, along with custom picture framing. Kate is very excited to continue to help creative non-profit projects grow and to continue to share her own fine art business with the community. Check out her art website below.
